The Dissolved Air Flotation System (DAF) in a container is Hidro-Water’s plug and play solution to remove suspended solids, oils and grease from wastewater.
The recycling of the water takes place through several processes. The chemical is prepared on site so that it can be dosed into the water to be treated. The coagulant is dosed, the pH is conditioned and the flocculant is added. This combination of elements allows the agglomeration of the colloids in the water to be treated. A floc of high uniformity and excellent separation characteristics is obtained. This is how the conditioned water arrives at the DAF.
The system binds the microbubbles generated by the equipment to the flocs, reducing their specific weight and causing them to float to the top of the cell.
Finally, the floating mass of waste that reaches the top is collected by a sweeper and pumped to a storage tank for further treatment.
The end result is a clean, solids-free effluent available to the customer.
