Original problem of water: The water supply is not of the quality required for the industrial process in which it is needed.
Final water application: Galvanic bath process where very low conductivity water is required.
Solution Provided / Result treated water: By integrating a demineraliser in a closed circuit, water of excellent quality (conductivity below 20 µS/cm2) is obtained, supplying 10 m3/h in an endless cycle, with only the necessary inputs for rinsing and evaporation.
The application of this technology in an 8-hour work cycle at this flow rate saves around 800 m3/day of mains water consumption, preserving the precious and increasingly scarce water resource.
Description:
The water coming from the rinses of an industrial process of galvanic baths, passes through a carbon filter that reduces alcohols, solvents and other contaminants, then passes through 3 resin beds that demineralise the water, giving it an almost ‘distilled’ conductivity, perfect for starting the process again in an endless number of work cycles with only small additions for washing and evaporation of the water.
Once the circuit is full, the saving in water consumption is > 90% and if it has to be adapted, even more.
