Description:
FDFE-1625 filter, designed to remove iron and manganese from water for use in the dairy industry. Pyrolusite is used as the filter media; in the presence of dissolved oxygen, it undergoes catalytic oxidation reactions with iron and manganese ions, causing them to precipitate and remain trapped in the filter bed until they are subsequently removed during backwashing.
Due to the valve configuration, the two filters can operate independently, performing service, backwash, and settling operations via motorized valves. The backwash process is performed using external water.
