OSMOSIS SYSTEM FOR HIGH SALINITY WATER
Thanks to Hidro-Water, it’s possible to do a great ice business in Morocco. Good niche market.
We have designed and manufactured a OSMOSIS SYSTEM FOR HIGH SALINITY WATER with a new functionality that makes it even more efficient: the RECOVERY ENERGY SYSTEM (EDR).
It is one of the Hidro-Water projects launched in early 2019: a system that purifies water from a well with very high salinity. Through reverse osmosis we obtain 960m3 of water/day, whose destination is the manufacture of ice
FROM THE WELL TO THE ICE
Since the water leaves the well until it can be frozen, Hidro-Water follows the next steps:
1.- PRE-TREATMENT, where the water goes through a system of:
- Prechlorination
- Filtering of roughing by filtering bed
- Dosage of anti-incrustrant
- Dosage of chlorine reducer
- Micro-Filtration
2.- OSMOSIS
We have distributed a membrane rack in one stage to produce 960 m3/day with a high pressure piston pump and energy recovery (EDR). This composition cuts back the final cost of the entire process.
To complete the process we include a displacement and chemical cleaning system consisting of a polyethylene tank, monoblock centrifugal pump and 25 micron filtration.
3.- POST-TREATMENT
We add to the process a dosing system for remineralization
