Sedimentation is the most used process for solid-liquid separation. Lamellar polypropylene AP modules are formed by a multitude of independent hexagonal tubes, increasing the specific surface and performing an accelerated sedimentation of the particles. Each packet is composed of multiple independent lamellar tubes with defined length and shape, which creates an ideal laminar flow for decant the suspended particles. Lamellar decanter is used for many applications among which are: secondary clarification of wastewater (biological sludge), primary and tertiary treatment of wastewater, physical-chemical treatment of industrial water, water reuse, marble, etc.
