Water treatment system by direct serial filtration, designed to replace conventional methods of coagulation, sedimentation and filtration generally used for water purification of deep origin and for use it for public supplies, providing water of physical and bacteriological quality, and with a less cost than traditional systems.
Multiple-bed filtration removes or retains much more of suspended matter and with less pressure drop than filters of just one filter bed that when operating with very dirty water the filtration cycles are shortened and cannot prevent leakage of fine particles from the granular filter beds.
HIDRO-WATER, S.L. has developed a filtration system called FW-DAP which consists of two multiple filter beds placed in series. The first filter acts as a roughing and takes the full depth of the filter bed to saturation and the second acts as polishing filtration and removal of iron with manganese dioxide retaining all particles that can leak from the first.
The system is complemented by chemical dosing equipment as oxidant, coagulant and flocculants, providing drinking water clean bacteriologically.
The installation can be supplemented with an activated carbon filter for the removal of organics and pesticides (not included in the standard).
Flow rates from 2 m3/h to 30 m3/h for standard models. For higher flow rates, please consult our technical department.
